On Thursday, Liv Morgan was arrested for possession of marijuana in Sumter County, Florida. Morgan was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and was released on a $3,000 bond at 10:04 p.m. She is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, February 12th, at 9:00 a.m. to hear the matter.
PWInsider reported that nobody was aware of Liv Morgan’s arrest except several top executives in the company until the news broke on the Internet. The few people who knew of the incident had spoken with Morgan on Friday. They had kept the story “within a small circle.”
PWInsider added that Liv Morgan is slated to make her return during WrestleMania season. The creative team already has “a high profile program” for her, and it won’t be changed due to the arrest.
PWInsider also noted that the former women’s champion has no backstage heat regarding Thursday’s incident. The management wants to resolve the matter as soon as possible, and she is not in danger of being released. PWInsider further noted that the vape pen containing an oil-like substance “belonged to someone else but had been left in her jeep.”
