Roman Reigns won the Universal Championship after defeating Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman at Payback in 2020. Reigns then defeated every superstar who stepped up against him. The Tribal Chief then became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion by defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.
Reigns successfully retained the title by defeating Logan Paul at Crown Jewel. Roman Reigns’ dominant title reign won’t end in the near future. However, WWE has already planned who should dethrone Reigns.
WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport that WWE chose a handful of superstars that could become the next Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Although, WrestleVotes did not confirm the exact superstar.
“They have an idea of who is going to beat Roman. I don’t know specifically if it’s Cody. I don’t know if it’s The Rock. I don’t know if it’s Bray. But I think there’s a handful of guys that they would say ‘alright, this makes sense for future.’ But I don’t think it’s happening anytime soon, to be honest with you.”
