WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event is set to take place tonight at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Five matches are confirmed for the event including two Championship bouts.
In the main event, Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn.
Elimination Chamber is starting at 8 p.m. ET and the kickoff show is one hour before the main card at 7 p.m. Fans in the United States have able to watch the show on Peacock and others can watch the event on WWE Network as usual.
Here are the 2023 WWE Elimination Chamber Predictions.
Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. Finn Bálor & Rhea Ripley
Edge has been feuding with Judgement Day for a long time. The rivalry began last May after Edge was kicked out of the faction by Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley.
Last September, Edge faced Finn Balor in an I Quit match which was won by Balor after forcing Edge to say “I Quit.” Following the match, Rhea Ripley hit Beth Phoenix with a chair to write off Grit Couple from television.
Edge made his shocking return to WWE in the men’s Royal Rumble match and eliminated Finn Balor and Damian Priest during the match. Edge then attacked both Balor and Priest on the ramp before being attacked by Rhea Ripley. Beth Phoenix then appeared on the ramp and hit a devastating spear on Ripley to build up their storyline into Elimination Chamber PLE.
Two weeks ago, Edge and Beth Phoenix appeared on Monday Night RAW and challenged Judgement Day to a mixed tag team match at Elimination Chamber. Finn Balor accepted the challenge.
Elimination Chamber is taking place in Canada which is the home country of Edge. Therefore, Edge and Beth Phoenix shouldn’t lose in front of their people. Rhea Ripley is the winner of the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match and WWE must book her strong in this match. Recently a rumor circulated that WWE planning a match between Edge and Finn Balor at WrestleMania 39. The best thing is Finn Balor eating the pinfall. Our Prediction: Edge and Beth Phoenix win the match.
Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
The storyline between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley began last year and they first competed at the 2022 Royal Rumble PLE for the WWE Championship. Bobby Lashley was able to win the title thanks to Roman Reigns’ help.
The Beast then began feuding with Reigns and The Almighty set his sight on the United States Championship. After losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar resumed his storyline with Bobby Lashley. Their second match took place at 2022 Crown Jewel which was won by Brock Lesnar with a controversial pinfall.
Brock Lesnar made his comeback on WWE RAW’s 30th-anniversary show and cost Lashley’s United States Title match. Last month, Bobby Lashley took his revenge by eliminating Lesnar at the men’s Royal Rumble match.
The two behemoths are now 1-1 in their rivalry. In the past few weeks, many fans expect the match will be pushed to WrestleMania 39 because both superstars didn’t compete with each other at the Show of Shows before. However, last night on SmackDown, Bray Wyatt said “Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, whichever one of you is the winner, know… you should run.” It appears that Wyatt could interfere in the match. Our Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins the match.
Austin Theory vs. Seth Rollins vs. Montez Ford vs. Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed in an Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship
Seth Rollins is the only superstar who should win the championship if Theory has to drop the title. However, Rollins will have a match against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39. Therefore, winning the title is unnecessary.
Montez Ford could be a main eventer someday but he is still stuck in the tag division. Johnny Gargano and Bronson Reed are unable to connect with the audience. Damian Priest is a secondary stable member and doesn’t need a title.
Austin Theory is rumored to face John Cena at WrestleMania 39. Although, John Cena’s status for WrestleMania is still not clear. However, losing the championship during WrestleMania season could damage Theory’s momentum. Our Prediction: Theory retains the United States Championship.
Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Nikki Cross vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya vs. Carmella to become the #1 Contender for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39
Asuka is the only woman who should face Bianca Belair at WrestleMania. She made her shocking return at Women’s Royal Rumble match with a new persona. Since then, WWE has built Asuka as a top star in the company. The Empress made tapped out Liv Morgan twice this week which means Liv is the least favorite to win the match.
Raquel Rodriguez could be a main eventer but this is not her time. Nikki Cross, Carmella, and Natalya aren’t built as credible opponents for Bianca Belair. Our Prediction: Asuka becomes the #1 contender for RAW Women’s Title.
Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns became the most dominant champion in the modern era within 2 years following his Universal Title victory at Payback PLE in 2020. Last year, Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Last July, Sami Zayn was involved in the Bloodline storyline, which slowly turned into the hottest thing on WWE television. Sami Zayn then earned the respect of Jey Uso at Survivor Series PLE. The Right Hand Man then took Zayn’s side every time whenever Zayn was in trouble.
However, Sami Zayn’s involvement in the Bloodline ended last month at Royal Rumble. The former Honorary Uce challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at Elimination Chamber in Montreal, Quebec, Canada which is the hometown of Sami Zayn.
Many fans expect Sami Zayn’s victory due to him being super over with the fans recently. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes emerged as the winner of the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble match and he will be challenging the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania. Cody and Zayn met face-to-face in the ring this past Monday on RAW and Cody motivated Zayn to dethrone Reigns at Elimination Chamber. However, the matter is that WWE didn’t build Sami Zayn as the next face of the company.
Sami Zayn winning the championship is the biggest upset in WWE history. However, at this moment it won’t happen. The fans could witness a great match, Jey Uso’s turn, and Kevin Owens’ shocking return. Our Prediction: Roman Reigns retains his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
