WWE Changed SmackDown Announce Team Following Pat McAfee’s Return

By The Spotlight StaffJanuary 30, 2024
WWE Changed SmackDown Announce Team Following Pat McAfee's Return

In 2022, Wade Barrett joined Michael Cole to do commentary on SmackDown when Pat McAfee left the company. Last August, Barrett and Cole were moved to RAW.

Kevin Patrick has provided the commentary along with Corey Graves since October 2022. However, Patrick was released from WWE last week. As a result, WWE had to change its announce teams once again.

Last night, Michael Cole announced that Pat McAfee would be joining him on the announce team for WWE RAW going forward. PWInsider reported that Wade Barrett and Corey Graves are the new broadcast team for SmackDown from this Friday onward. They added that Graves would do play-by-play while Barrett would remain in his color commentary role.
