This past Saturday, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a Steel City Street Fight. Balor and Priest won the titles thanks to Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh.
Last night, Sami Zayn interrupted Judgment Day and said that Dominik deserved a beating. Sami challenged Dominik to a match, but McDonagh said he wanted to fight Sami. The former Tag Team Champion accepted JD McDonagh’s challenge. However, McDonagh picked up the victory with help from Dirty Dominik.
PWInsider reported that Kevin Owens was backstage at last night’s RAW in Charlotte, North Carolina. Owens was supposed to face McDonagh on the show. However, the plan has been changed due to some reason.
“While it was stated Kevin Owens was not at Raw, he was backstage and late in the day, he was slated to wrestle JD McDonagh, so there was obviously a change in plans.”
