United States Champion Austin Theory and John Cena kicked off WrestleMania night one. John Cena took control of the match in the first few minutes. Theory bit Cena’s ear and hit two suplexes. Theory then attempted to go to the third suplex but Cena reversed it. Theory then hit a dropkick but Cena kicked out at two. John Cena put an STF on Theory. Theory escaped from the submission by biting Cena. John Cena attempted to hit Attitude Adjustment but Theory reversed it with a DDT. Austin Theory put a Sleeper Hold on Cena. John Cena then hit a Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena put an STF to tap out Theory but the referee was knocked out. Austin Theory then hit a low blow. Theory hit an A-Town Down to retain the United States Championship.
