Wesley Eisold Comments On Lawsuit Filed Against Cody Rhodes & WWE

On Wednesday, musician Wesley Eisold filed a lawsuit against Cody Runnels (Cody Rhodes), WWE, and Fanatics, alleging trademark infringement, breach of contract, and intentional interference with contractual relations.

Wesley Eisold trademarked his band name “American Nightmare” for music, clothing, and entertainment services in 2016. Under an agreement, Eisold allowed Rhodes to register the trademark “American Nightmare” in 2021. You can read more by clicking here.

On X, Wesley Eisold’s Cold Cave band stated the following:

“Listen you f–king dolts.
I already own the name.
Doesn’t matter who you like.
They licensed it from me.
Then violated that agreement.”
