Last night’s SmackDown took place at the Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. Before the show began airing, LA Knight had a segment with Hit Row. The faction came to the ring and insulted the crowd. Knight then came to the ring with a huge ovation. Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Top Dolla attacked Knight. However, Knight got the upper hand.

SmackDown kicked off with the Tribal Court segment. Roman Reigns said that he was done being The Tribal Chief and handed his lei to Jey Uso. Reigns then hit a low blow on Jey. The Usos and Reigns & Sikoa got into a huge brawl. Reigns brutally attacked Jimmy Uso. After the commercial break, WWE aired footage of Jimmy being sent to the hospital.
Roman Reigns waited to confront Jey Uso in the final segment of SmackDown. Jey came through the crowd and attacked Reigns and Sikoa with a chair. The former Right-Hand Man then challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Two dark matches took place after SmackDown went off the air. Seth Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor. Rollins hit a Pedigree and a Curb Stomp to retain the title.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Pretty Deadly. Owens hit a Stunner on Kit Wilson to pick up the victory.
