Last August, Sami Zayn made several iconic moments after joining the Bloodline storyline. Zayn’s interactions with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in the past made fans tune into WWE television week after week.
WWE unfolded the Bloodline storyline incredibly well in the past few months. It became even more entertaining to watch following Kevin Owens’ involvement.
Over the past couple of weeks, Roman Reigns started to suspect Sami Zayn because of Sami’s friendship with Owens in the past two decades.
This past Monday on RAW, The Tribal Chief held tribal court for Sami’s trial and told him to go home and appear only on Royal Rumble. The Honorary Uce didn’t follow Tribal Chief’s orders and he also appeared this past Friday on SmackDown.
In the main event of the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns retained his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship by defeating Kevin Owens. Following the match, Bloodline brutally attacked Owens. They then handcuffed Owens into the ring ropes and hit multiple superkicks.
Zayn tried to stop Reigns from attacking Owens. The Tribal Chief then ordered Sami Zayn to hit Owens with the chair. Zayn refused and hit Reigns with the chair. That shocked the Bloodline. The rest of the Bloodline members except Jey Uso attacked Sami Zayn.
After Royal Rumble went off the air, the referees checked both Owens and Zayn. The officials helped Owens and Zayn to walk to the backstage area.
