Last night, Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis defended his IBF Welterweight Championship against David Avanesyan in the main event of Matchroom Boxing’s card at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ennis defeated Avanesyan by TKO in the fifth round to retain the title.
With that victory, Jaron Ennis extended his undefeated record in professional boxing to 32-0 record, and Ennis handed Avanesyan (30-5-1) the fifth loss in his career.
