Last night, Gervonta “Tank” Davis defended his WBA Lightweight World Championship against Frank Martin at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Davis knocked out Martin in the eighth round to retain the title.
With that victory, Gervonta Davis improved his undefeated record in professional boxing to 30-0, while Davis handed Martin (18-1) the first loss in his career. Tank finished the fight after delivering Martin with a right hook, a left uppercut, and a left straight.
