Vince McMahon's Spokesperson & TKO Group Issue Statements Regarding Recent Allegations

On Thursday, Janel Grant, a former employee who worked at WWE from 2019 to 2022, filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and the company. Grant alleged that McMahon abused and sexually exploited her. You can read more by clicking here.

TKO Group Holdings was formed last September by merging WWE and UFC. The company issued a statement on McMahon’s misconduct allegation.

“Mr. McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE. While this matter pre-dates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally.”

A spokesman for Vince McMahon issued the following statement regarding Grant’s allegations:

“This lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and a vindictive distortion of the truth. He will vigorously defend himself.”
