Vince McMahon Reportedly Tried To Purchase 'Mr. McMahon' Netflix Docuseries

The highly anticipated “Mr. McMahon” docuseries will be released on Netflix this Wednesday. However, Vince McMahon issued a statement on X to express his dissatisfaction about the docuseries. The former Executive Chairman of TKO stated, “A lot has been misrepresented or left out entirely in an effort to leave viewers intentionally confused.”

Matt Belloni of Puck reported that the docuseries was nearly finished in 2022 before McMahon was accused of misconduct. Belloni noted that executive producer Chris Smith added the Janel Grant controversy to the series. Belloni also noted that McMahon wasn’t thrilled about the docuseries after seeing early footage. McMahon attempted to buy the project, but Netflix has refused it. McMahon has also urged Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel to speak up for him.
