Update On Eddie Kingston’s Leg Injury

By The Spotlight StaffMay 18, 2024
Update On Eddie Kingston's Leg Injury

Eddie Kingston last competed at NJPW Resurgence, where he dropped the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship to Gabe Kidd in a No Rope Last Man Standing match.

During the bout, Kingston’s leg hit the guardrail while taking a suplex through a table. However, Kingston was able to finish the match according to plan. He also did the post-match angle with The Elite despite being injured.

PWInsider reported that The Mad King suffered a tubular fracture to his leg.

“Eddie Kingston is confirmed to have suffered a tubular fracture to his leg, PWInsider.com has learned. The injury was confirmed after a series of X-Rays in California. Kingston is currently waiting for confirmation on how the injury will be addressed medically. We are told he is hoping to return by All In: London 2024 but that will depend on whether surgery is required.”
