Update On Cash Wheeler’s Aggravated Assault Case

By The Spotlight StaffMay 14, 2024
Update On Cash Wheeler's Aggravated Assault Case

Last August, Cash Wheeler was arrested by the Orlando Police Department for aggravated assault with a firearm. Wheeler allegedly “flashed a gun” at the other party during a road rage incident, the prosecutor had claimed. Wheeler pleaded not guilty to the charges and was later released on a $2,500 bond.

PWInsider reported that the prosecutor’s office had filed a “Nolle Prosequi” to drop the case against Cash Wheeler on Monday afternoon. There are no words as to why the prosecutor made that decision.

Wheeler was slated for a pre-trial hearing on May 14th at 2 p.m. before the trial on May 20th. PWInsider noted that “all of that has been canceled. Wheeler’s bond has been released and the case was officially closed as of 3 PM this afternoon.”
