During this past Friday night SmackDown, Big E suffered a broken neck after taking a belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland at ringside.
Later, Big E announced that he had fractured his C-1 and C-6 vertebrae, but wouldn’t need a surgery.
On Twitter, former WWE Champion stated that he returned to home on Monday after being in the hospital.
Yesterday, Big E thanked fans for their concern and tweeted,
“I used to endure difficult things in my life and I felt very alone. But I feel so immeasurably loved and supported. I was not prepared for the sheer volume of DMs, calls, texts, visits, etc. I’ll never be able to adequately thank you all.“
