Tyson Fury (34-2-1) last competed on December 21 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he faced Oleksandr Usyk (23-0) for the WBA, WBC, and WBO Heavyweight Championships. Fury lost the bout via unanimous decision. It was Gypsy King’s second consecutive loss in professional boxing.
On Monday, Tyson Fury posted a video on social media to announce his retirement.
“I’m going to make this short and sweet, I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing. It’s been a blast, I’ve loved every single minute of it and I’m going to end with this. Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, see you on the other side.”
