Earlier this year, Chelsea Green made her return to WWE at the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Green was paired with Sonya Deville on WWE television a few weeks later.
Green and Deville became the No. 1 contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championships by winning the Tag Team Turmoil match on the July 3rd episode of Monday Night RAW. Green and Deville last defeated Kayden Carter and Catana Chance to earn a title opportunity.
Last night, Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville captured the Women’s Tag Team Titles by defeating Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on WWE RAW. Prior to the match, Rhea Ripley attacked Liv and Rodriguez backstage. Green and Deville took advantage of it and won the titles.
Sonya Deville posted a photo of herself and Green with Triple H and stated the following.
“8 years. 8 years we have been waiting for this photo. @ImChelseaGreen Thank you @TripleH 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 AND NEW”
