Last year, Naomi and Sasha Banks walked out of WWE. In March, Naomi announced that she is no longer under contract with WWE. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion recently trained with Samuray Del Sol (former WWE superstar Kalisto) for a comeback to pro wrestling.
Yesterday, Trinity Fatu (Naomi) made her Impact Wrestling debut at Spring Slugfest, where Trinity made it clear that she came to the promotion to win the Knockouts World Championship.
Trinity was interrupted by Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo. Jordynne Grace then came to the ring and reminded both of them that she is set to face Purazzo for the title on May 26th at the Under Siege pay-per-view. The segment will air on the May 4th episode of Impact.
Trinity Fatu will make her Impact in-ring debut on Saturday’s Spring Slugfest against Knockouts World Tag Team Champion KiLynn King, which will air on the May 18th episode of Impact.
Trinity’s close friend Mercedes Mone was also spotted in the crowd to support her on Friday’s Spring Slugfest.
