Rossy Ogawa is the co-founder of Stardom, which was established in 2010. Bushiroad, the parent company of New Japan Pro Wrestling, purchased Stardom in 2019.
Bushiroad announced that they fired Rossy Ogawa from the company on Sunday, February 4th. Bushiroad claimed that Ogawa poached the wrestlers and employees of Stardom.
Rossy Ogawa thanked fans for supporting Stardom for the past thirteen years. Ogawa added that he is now worried about wrestlers in Stardom.
Tony Khan has had a good relationship with NJPW for a long time. Both companies have held cross-promotional events. However, AEW didn’t have a partnership with Stardom.
On X, AEW President Tony Khan reacted to Rossy Ogawa’s departure from Stardom with several GIFs.
“Bye Rossy!”
THE BIG GOODBYE.
IT’S A CLEAR CASE OF INDUSTRIAL ESPIONAGE.
THE FEDS HAD AN UNDERCOVER AGENT IN DR. SCHRECK’S OFFICE.
