“The American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes” was released on July 31st. The documentary is about the real-life and pro wrestling career of Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare stated in the documentary that he left AEW due to personal issues.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H made a comment about Cody Rhodes, which went viral on social media. Triple H referenced All Elite Wrestling as a secondary wrestling promotion.
“It’s taking that gamble again and saying – I didn’t grow up dreaming of being the champion or the face of a secondary promotion.”

The Game’s statement in the documentary angered a lot of AEW fans. In an interview with Orlando Sentinel, Tony Khan responded to Triple H’s statement. Khan said AEW is the No. 1 promotion in the United Kingdom. He reminded the gate record of All In. Khan also said that WWE has second to AEW in a lot of markets.
“We certainly won’t be the secondary promotion at All In. We’re No. 1 in the UK, on TV and with a record gate. I have a lot of respect for Cody. I know these weren’t his words, to be fair, but we’re not secondary in a lot of markets — for the first time in a long time, WWE has been secondary in a lot of markets…. I’m proud of where we’re at and we’re not taking a back seat to anybody.”

All In is scheduled to take place on August 27th at Wembley Stadium in London, England. According to WrestleTix, 77,470 tickets were sold for the show so far.
