Tony Khan Comments On WWE NXT vs. AEW Dynamite Tuesday Night War

WWE and AEW have announced stacked cards for their tonight’s shows. WWE NXT will feature John Cena, Undertaker, Paul Heyman, and Asuka while AEW Dynamite will feature Adam Copeland, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Saraya, and many others.

Both companies are looking to beat their competitors in the viewership. In the past 24 hours, Tony Khan was heavily active on his social media, promoting AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday. AEW President also took massive shots at Vince McMahon, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels.

In an interview with “Maggie & Perloff”, Tony Khan discussed WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite going head-to-head tonight. Khan said that this would be the best time period for wrestling. Khan also said that they are on the best run of major events in the history of AEW.

“Wrestling is doing really well right now. It’s a great time for the business and a great time to be a wrestling fan, which is what we wanted when we started in AEW. It’s worked. Now, for us in AEW, normally we would do the show on Wednesday, they moved us to tonight, it’s a rare thing, and everybody has really taken the spirit of it and everyone is up for a big fight. That’s what wrestling is all about. Our fans have really rallied around AEW. We’re on the best run of major events in the history of the company and we’re going to keep it going.”
