Tony Khan Comments On CM Punk's Contribution To AEW

In an interview with Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about CM Punk, who made his return this past Saturday at WWE Survivor Series. Khan declined to comment due to legal reasons.

Staszewski then asked Tony Khan about CM Punk’s positive contribution to All Elite Wrestling.

AEW President stated that CM Punk’s AEW debut on August 20th, 2021, was an incredible moment. Tony Khan also stated that Punk was a big part of 2021 All Out and All In.

“The First Dance was an incredible moment in wrestling and was part of a very important time in AEW, All Out 2021, along with All In, are our biggest pay-per-views of all time and we’ve had a lot of great success as a company as a team and in some of the most exciting times, CM Punk has been a big part of that team.”
