Tony Khan Comments On AEW’s Banned Moves List

Tony Khan Comments On AEW's Banned Moves List

In 2019, Tony Khan along with Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and Young Bucks created All Elite Wrestling for fans who love a more violent style of wrestling. The company became popular because of giving the audience what they prefer. AEW wrestlers frequently use some of the dangerous moves to entertain fans. Therefore, most of them are prone to injuries.

Recently, Fightful Select reported that they obtain an internal document of AEW containing a list of banned moves and actions. According to the document, some spots need special permission from the medical team and coaches. Fightful has verified the document with several people in the company.

AEW President Tony Khan recently appeared on “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz,” where he discussed trying to build a safer pro wrestling company. Khan made it clear that the restrictions wouldn’t affect the quality of the show.

“Yes, I want to have a great pro wrestling company, a hard-hitting pro wrestling company. Those aren’t really crazy changes. It’s nothing that’s going to change the show. It’s really more guidelines for the referees than anything else, and it’s good stuff for the wrestlers to know.”
