Stephanie’s husband Triple H suffered a cardiac event last year. We think that might be the reason she is taking a hiatus from WWE.

However, Fightful Select has provide an update regarding Stephanie McMahon taking a leave of absence. They stated, Stephanie has become less involved in WWE duties recently.

“Stephanie had been less involved in WWE of late. Those that we spoke to around the situation quickly shut down any potential rumors that she was pushed out of the position.”

PWInsider reported that, no one in the company knew she is taking a leave of absence and WWE staff are shocked after hearing the announcement.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WWE already find out the suitable person for most of the Stephanie’s duties. It’s WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan.

“Nick Khan will be taking over most of Stephanie McMahon’s duties in her absence, according to multiple people at WWE. Select business partners have already been informed.”
