This past Monday, Seth Rollins retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Jinder Mahal in the main event of WWE RAW. Unfortunately, Rollins suffered an injury during the match.
The Visionary was pulled from this weekend’s WWE live events. However, WWE has announced that Rollins will address fans about his injury on the January 22nd episode of RAW.
Fightful Select reported that Seth Rollins suffered a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus during the World Heavyweight Title match.
“Seth Rollins sustained a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus on Monday’s WWE Raw, Fightful Select has learned.”
MCL tears will take three to six weeks to recover with treatment. It could take several months if Rollins undergoes surgery. A partially torn meniscus takes four to eight weeks to recover.
