Sonya Deville Legitimately Injured At WWE Live Event

Last night, WWE held its Sunday live event at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Florida. You can read the full results of the event by clicking here.

During the show, Charlotte Flair defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sonya Deville and Liv Morgan in a Triple Threat Match. In the closing moment, Charlotte managed to put a roll-up pin on Liv and retained the title.

However, Sonya Deville suffered a nasty cut during the match. The medical staff then checked and carried her backstage.

Later, Sonya Deville posted a story on Instagram and stated that she got seven stitches for the wound.
WWE’s senior vice president of live events Road Dogg said that “Stitches in the same eyebrow that she just had stitches put in last Friday.”

This is the second time that Sonya Deville got hurt during a match. She was also hurt during the women’s Royal Rumble match.
