Sheamus Issues Statement After Stealing LA Knight's Catchphrase On SmackDown

Last night on SmackDown, LA Knight had a singles match against Hit Row’s Ashante “Thee” Adonis. Knight did a promo prior to the bout and said that “I knew Will Smith was in the game but I didn’t know Uncle Phil became a rapper.” The Megastar got a huge reaction from the fans. Knight defeated Adonis with a BFT within a few minutes.

WWE announced that there will be a Battle Royal at SummerSlam. LA Knight had a backstage segment with Adam Pearce and The Brawling Brutes. Pearce added Knight and Sheamus to the Battle Royal. Both men will also have a match next Friday.

Sheamus issued a few tweets regarding LA Knight ahead of their match on SmackDown. The Celtic Warrior stated that he will beat The Megastar.
