Last night, Seth Rollins sustained a knee injury during his match against LA Knight at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The match was going smoothly until Rollins attempted a moonsault from the middle rope. Knight wisely rolled away, causing Rollins to land awkwardly on his knee. Immediately afterward, Rollins was checked by medical staff, and Knight capitalized with a quick BFT to secure the win. Rollins was then helped to the back by officials and medical personnel.

PWInsider reported that this wasn’t the original finish. Rollins was supposed to win, but the injury forced WWE to change plans on the fly. The severity of the injury is still unknown, but early signs suggest it’s legitimate, not part of a storyline.
“We are told by WWE sources that Seth Rollins was originally set to defeat LA Knight on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Knight winning was a last second call to end the bout after Rollins tweaked his knee. There is no word yet on the severity, but all signs are the Rollins injury was legitimate.”
This incident raises serious concerns about Rollins’ future WWE plans, especially considering his history of knee problems. Fans will remember his devastating ACL, MCL, and meniscus tear in 2015 that kept him out for over six months. Since then, his knees have remained a fragile point in his otherwise successful career.
WWE has yet to provide an official update on Rollins’ condition, leaving the status of his upcoming appearances and storylines uncertain.
