WWE held the first live event since the passing of Bray Wyatt last night in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. In the main event, Seth Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor in a Street Fight.
The Visionary performed Bray Wyatt’s iconic upside-down and spider-walk during the match to honor the beloved superstar. Rollins retained the title with a Curb Stomp.

After the match, fans turned on their flashlights and sang “he’s got the whole world in his hands.” Seth Rollins suddenly burst into tears and then made an emotional speech.
“Every time I do my entrance and this song comes out, I see some lights in the crowd. Even before this week, I always thought of Windham… And in a weird way, it was a tribute to him, something that I took for him, but I promise you guys I will think of him for the rest of my career every single time I see these fireflies. I ain’t got time to go see a therapist and talk to anybody about this, so I appreciate all of you here tonight. You guys were an awesome crowd all night. We should pay you on your way out for being my therapist on top of it. I love you, thank you for allowing us to do what we do. We cannot wait to come back. Until next time, follow the buzzards.”
