Sean O’Malley (18-1-1) last competed at UFC 299, where he successfully retained his UFC Bantamweight Championship by defeating Marlon Vera (23-9-1) via unanimous decision.
The 29-year-old tested positive for the banned substance ostarine multiple times in 2018 and 2019. On his podcast, Sean O’Malley said recent studies revealed that ostarine can be transferred through sweat. O’Malley added that he had been training with people taking ostarine, which is why he tested positive for ostarine.
Conor McGregor responded to Sean O’Malley’s claims with a laughing emoji on X. However, the post has now been deleted. The former UFC Double Champ’s post got under the skin of O’Malley. UFC Bantamweight Champion fired back at McGregor as follows:
“Miss the old Conor 🙁 you fell off bud. Still a fan tho. I actually don’t care you are 1-4 in your last 5 I’m stills excited to watch. Hope the toe is feeling better.”
“Conor isn’t in anyone GOAT talk. Entertainment yes but skills, no. Has a really good left hand. Sh-t Cardio. Weak Jits. Decently athletic. Mentally weak. Drug addict, needs rehab. 1-4 last 5 fights. Still fan tho. Hope toe heals up”
