Sami Zayn Reportedly Taking Time Off From WWE

Sami Zayn and several other top babyfaces feuded with Judgment Day for a long time. The storyline ended at Survivor Series after Team Cody won the WarGames match.

Two weeks ago, Sami Zayn started a brief storyline with Drew McIntyre. This past Monday on RAW, the duo had a segment in the ring before the bout. Sami said that he made his family proud at WrestleMania 39. He then asked McIntyre if he had made his family proud.

The Scottish Warrior defeated Sami Zayn with a Claymore Kick. Later, McIntyre attacked Sami backstage.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that Sami Zayn has asked for time off from WWE and was granted it. However, Meltzer was unable to confirm when his time off would start.
