Chelsea Green and Piper Niven defended their Women’s Tag Team Titles against Kayden Carter and Katana Chance on the December 18th episode of RAW. Green and Niven lost their titles to Carter and Chance.
Last Monday, Samantha Irvin didn’t pronounce Chelsea Green’s name as she previously did. The WWE RAW ring announcer responded to an X post and stated, “Not my call but I appreciate this and it is likely true.”

Fightful Select reported that a certain higher-up informed Samantha Irvin to stop Chelsea Green’s special introduction. Fightful added that many in WWE are pushing to bring it back.
“We followed up on Samantha Irvin noting that it wasn’t her call to scrap the special Chelsea Green entrance. We’re told that word backstage was that the direction came directly from a WWE higher-up, and many were pushing for it to return.”
