This past Saturday, Jimmy Uso betrayed Roman Reigns at Night of Champions. As a result, Reigns and Solo Sikoa were unable to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles.

Paul Heyman then announced on social media that Jimmy Uso’s action will address tonight on SmackDown. In addition, WWE announced that The Tribal Chief will celebrate his 1000 days reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion tonight.

Fightful Select broke a piece of interesting news regarding Roman Reigns’ title. They noted that a memo was sent internally to set up a podium for unveiling a new championship. The new title unveiling process will be similar to The Rock’s 2013 segment.

As of Friday morning, this will be the planned segment. However, keep in mind that the plans always change in WWE.

There are two matches have been announced for tonight’s SmackDown.

  • Money in the Bank qualifying match: Zelina Vega vs. Lacey Evans
  • Money in the Bank qualifying match: LA Knight vs. Montez Ford
