Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes in the main event on night two of WrestleMania 39.

Reigns is currently holding the title for 942 days. Many fans expect Cody Rhodes to dethrone Reigns at the Showcase of the Immortals. WrestleVotes reported that the Tribal Chief would take a significant break if he loses the title.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Roman Reigns stated that he is incredibly happy about the past three years of his career.

“You set goals and have visions of where you view yourself and what you’d like to accomplish. But, I couldn’t have written the past three years any better. It feels good to come from a wrestling family that has been performers for a long time. To represent such a prestigious title reign at the tippity top of the mountain, there’s no comparison.”

A rumor recently circulated that Roman Reigns will soon follow in the footsteps of Rock and John Cena. In the interview, Reigns stated that he will continue wrestling for a long time.

“I feel good. I take care of myself. I’m not running around doing anything crazy. I raise children and dominate the wrestling game. If they keep cutting these insane checks, I’ll stay around.”
