We are saddened to report that one-half of the current ROH Tag Team Champions, Jay Briscoe passed away at the age of 38 in a car accident.
WMDT reported that the incident happened between Laurel Road and Little Hill Road around 5:30 pm which resulted in two deaths.
“Laurel, DE- A fatal car collision in Laurel left two dead Tuesday evening according to Delaware State Police. The incident occurred in the area of Laurel Road and Little Hill Road around 5:30 pm and caused an extended road closure.”
AEW President and the owner of ROH Tony Khan issued the following statement regarding Jay Briscoe.
“Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today. Jay and his brother Mark dominated ROH, reigning as champions to this day. We’ll do whatever we can to support his family. Rest In Peace Jamin”
