The Bloodline is the most captivating and interesting storyline in WWE right now. Centered around the Samoan family dynasty, this storyline has not only redefined the concept of family allegiance but also restructured WWE’s main event landscape.
Earlier this month, Roman Reigns, Jey and Jimmy Uso faced Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga in the opening match of Crown Jewel PLE. However, Rikishi wasn’t thrilled with WWE’s booking. On his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer said the Bloodline is a special attraction and it should have headlined the show.
“I mean, The Bloodline is a special attraction in itself. What I don’t get is that they open up the show, being way out there and the first time going at it together, and you got one of the richest places in the world… you keep it where it needs to be, and that’s the main event, you know what I mean? But I get it, the booking is the booking, and so we got to give it some breathing room because how do you follow The Bloodline? You don’t.”
In the main event of Crown Jewel, Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther to become the inaugural Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.
