Ric Flair Says He's Dying To Go One On One With MJF

Last week, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair made his All Elite Wrestling debut. Flair was announced as a gift for Sting from Tony Khan. He joined AEW because Sting will be retiring at AEW Revolution next year.

Recently, Ric Flair posted a few photos from the October 25th episode of AEW Dynamite on X and stated, “I’m Ready For This Journey In AEW With My Dear Friend The Icon Sting.”

On X, The Icon stated, “he put me on the map in the very beginning, and Ric Flair is going to be with me every step of the way to the end, and we’ll go out together in a blaze of glory.”

Today, AEW issued a press release to announce that Ric Flair has signed a multi-year deal with the company.

In an interview with Variety, Ric Flair stated that he is better than anyone on the mic. The WWE Hall of Famer challenged MJF for a promo battle.

“I can still talk better than anybody. They’ll find out if they turn me loose, I’m dying to go one on one with MJF, man. It would get a rating too. Let’s talk, young man.”
