Last September, Rhea Ripley hit Beth Phoenix with a Con-Chair-To following the “I Quit” match between Edge and Finn Balor at Extreme Rules PLE.
Rhea Ripley then teamed with Finn Balor to face Edge and Beth Phoenix in a Mixed Tag Team match at Elimination Chamber PLE. The Hall of Fame couple won the match. However, Ripley and Phoenix have unfinished business on WWE television.
While speaking with Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast, Rhea Ripley revealed who she would like to wrestle. Ripley stated that she wants to face Beth Phoenix in a one-on-one match. Ripley also noted that Lita would be the woman if Beth Phoenix is unable to wrestle again.
“I think one of the main ones is, I want my singles match with Beth Phoenix. I want my singles match, not a tag, a singles. But if she doesn’t fit the mold of what we’re going with, and we’re going with first time ever, I want to say, Lita. I think that would be a lot of fun.”

Earlier this month, Rhea Ripley became the new SmackDown Women’s Champion by defeating Charlotte Flair on night one of WrestleMania 39. As of now, Ripley doesn’t have an opponent for the upcoming Backlash PLE.
