SummerSlam is scheduled to take place this Saturday at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. WWE has announced seven matches for the show. However, two bouts that were scheduled for the event had to cancel due to time constraints.
Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus started their storyline after WrestleMania 39. Both women faced each other at Night of Champions. Their second match was scheduled to take place at the Biggest Party of the Summer. However, it was postponed to the August 14th episode of Monday Night RAW.
WRKD Wrestling reported that “There are growing frustrations backstage in WWE regarding the handling of the women’s division.”
Recently, Becky Lynch posted photos of her SummerSlam shoot and expressed her frustration after her match was postponed.
