Rhea Ripley joined WWE in 2017 and accomplished a lot of things in the company. Ripley was the inaugural WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion. After that victory, she became the first female Australian Champion in WWE history.
In 2019, Rhea Ripley appeared on WWE NXT and she had great matches. In the same year, she defeated Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s Championship and became the first NXT and NXT UK Women’s Champion.
Rhea Ripley had competed at WrestleMania twice. In 2021, she defeated Asuka to win the RAW Women’s Championship, which was a career highlight.
The 26-year-old star is currently aligned with Judgement Day and portrays herself as modern-day Chyna on WWE television.
Rhea Ripley entered last night’s women’s Royal Rumble match as the #1 entry and won the Rumble match to earn a title opportunity at WrestleMania 39. Ripley is the first female superstar that entered first and won a Rumble match.
During the post-Royal Rumble media scrum, Rhea Ripley revealed that she has dislocated her knee for a few seconds and she then adjusted it back. The Women’s Royal Rumble winner said that she is fine now.
“I’m obviously beat up. My knees aren’t very good in general, so my knee did dislocate for a second, and then it went back in. But I’m feeling good now, and because of all my emotions, I’m just excited, so I’m blocking out everything else. If anything, I can smell blood in my nose, and that’s definitely there, but my knee is good.”
