Last May, Bianca Belair dropped her WWE Women’s Championship to Asuka at Night of Champions PLE. Belair then requested a rematch, but Charlotte Flair insert into the storyline and got a title opportunity against Asuka last week. However, Charlotte was unable to win the title due to Belair’s interference.
In the main event of last night’s SmackDown, Bianca Belair faced Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship. During the match, Bayley and Iyo Sky appeared in the front row by purchasing tickets. Charlotte Flair was also present in the front row. The match ended in a disqualification after Charlotte accidentally attacked Belair.
WWE did a huge blunder before the main event began. The production team showed Rhea Ripley’s entrance video on screen as Bianca Belair entered the ring. However, the production team realized the mistake and fixed it within a few seconds.
Rhea Ripley also noticed the botch and tweeted the following.
