On Thursday, WWE released more than 20 talents from the main roster, NXT and Performance Center. Among them was Rick Boogs. The 35-year-old made his return earlier this year after being recovered from a torn quadriceps tendon injury.
Recently, Rick Boogs uploaded a video on YouTube and claimed that he was fired from WWE due to a backstage political power play.
Boogs replied to some fan comments on his YouTube video. One fan stated that WWE did nothing with Boogs and quietly let him go. In a response to the fan, Rick Boogs stated one person in the management didn’t like him.
“Pretty much everyone in the corporate side of the company agreed which is why I was always the third party guy doing commercials for old spice, snickers, Mikes hard lemonade,and Toyota…however, one person clearly has some weird grudge against me”

Another fan noted, “This never would’ve happened with Vince at the helm.” Rick Boogs then stated that Vince McMahon’s departure from the creative team affected his WWE career.
