Last night, WWE didn’t air a live episode of RAW. Instead, the company aired highlighted moments of Monday Night RAW this year. However, WWE held two live events on Monday in New York City, NY and Columbus, OH. The live event of Columbus was a total mess.

The superstars who were scheduled to compete at WWE live event in Columbus, Ohio couldn’t make it to the arena. As a result, the advertised main event was changed.

According to Fightful Select, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bobby Lashley, and Alexa Bliss were unable to arrive at the arena. Rollins was supposed to face Austin Theory for the United States Championship in the main event of the show. However, later it was changed to Austin Theory vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest in a Steel Cage Match.

“Several WWE talent missed the Columbus live event, with even more showing up late. Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Alexa Bliss all missed the event, and several more had to rush to even make the show. Rollins was set to main event against Theory but was replaced by Damian Priest and Johnny Gargano.”

In response to a fan, Seth Rollins tweeted that the bus he and Becky Lynch use to travel “broke down on the side of the road” which was the reason why they missed the live event.

It did. And I’m very sorry! We tried, but by the time the bus broke down on the side of the road we had no other recourse.

Massive apologies my friend. We tried everything to make it in time, but with flight delays and cancellations on top of our bus breaking down, it was impossible.

PWInsider provided more details about Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch’s unexpected incident.

“We are told that the bus was actually in Iowa last weekend in advance of this weekend’s tour. Columbus would be a 9-10 hour drive from Iowa, not factoring in the harsh weather conditions of the last week across the United States.”

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
