Grayson Waller was drafted to SmackDown from NXT during the 2023 WWE Draft. Waller made his main roster debut in a backstage segment on the May 12th episode of SmackDown, where Adam Pearce allowed Waller to premiere the “Grayson Waller Effect” show.
A week later, AJ Styles appeared as the first guest on Grayson Waller’s talk show on SmackDown. Last week, he interviewed the RAW Women’s Champion Asuka. Many fans questioned the reason behind Waller not competing on SmackDown. Some fans assumed that he was recovering from an injury. However, that’s not the case.
BWE reported that WWE has a plan for the 33-year-old star. The company is slowly introducing Grayson Waller to WWE fans. That’s why he’s still not competing on the main roster.
“He’s good. It’s a matter of slowly introducing him.”
Grayson Waller last competed at NXT Spring Breakin’, where he faced Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship. But Waller failed to capture the title.
