Kevin Owens was misused by Vince McMahon’s regime in the past five years. Last July, everything changed after Triple H took control of the WWE. Since July, Owens did the promos in a very aggressive manner and fans noticed Owens revert back to his old NXT character.
Many fans thought Kevin Owens was about to receive a huge push in near future. However, it did not happen and he was rarely featured on WWE television. Owens last competed on WWE Television on the August 26th episode of Monday Night RAW, where he teamed up with Johnny Gargano and defeated The Alpha Academy.
Now, WrestleVotes has told GiveMeSport that Triple H has temporary hold Kevin Owens’ future plans due to Sami Zayn receiving huge reactions from the crowd. They also noted that the idea is for Owens to join Zayn.
“He was pegged to get involved with Sami and The Bloodline, but that’s white hot right now. Those plans from what I’ve been told are definitely pushed back, but they’re not off, because the plan is for Kevin Owens to be with Sami Zayn.”

WrestleVotes also noted that Sami Zayn was supposed to be with The Bloodline for three or four weeks.
“Whatever they had planned for Kevin Owens is totally on pause because this stuff with Sami doesn’t come around often. This was supposed to be a little three, four week comedy deal, and it’s getting big.”
