Jay White last competed on the March 13th episode of AEW Dynamite: Big Business, where he defeated Darby Allin. White attacked Allin after the match. The Bullet Club Gold also turned on The Acclaimed to end their partnership.
Switchblade didn’t participate in AEW’s Canada shows besides pre-taped segments. Fightful Select reported that Jay White has a visa issue that prevents him from traveling to Canada. They added that White will return to AEW television once the company starts holding shows in the United States.
