Edge started his faction “Judgment Day” with Damian Priest at WrestleMania 38. Later Rhea Ripley joined the Edge’s Judgment Day faction at WrestleMania Backlash. Since then, Edge has teased plenty of superstars to join for Judgment Day. Also, Judgment Day was able to defeat Finn Balor and Liv Morgan at WWE Hell in a Cell.

On this week’s Monday Night RAW, WWE announced The Judgment Day would add a new member to the faction. Later it was revealed as Finn Balor while Edge introduced the new member. However, Damian Priest began to attack Edge then also Balor and Rhea Ripley attacked Edge as well. The segment ended with The new Judgment Day leading Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest standing tall in the ring.

According to Fightful Select, WWE’s creative team had pitched for Judgment Day to go in a more “supernatural” way, but Edge opposed the idea.

“WWE had mentioned taking Judgment Day a “supernatural” route, which Edge was said to have been opposed to. Word started to emerge in the afternoon hours ahead of WWE Raw that a big shift involving Finn Balor and Edge was set to happen.

Although that was firmly set on Monday, the pitch to have Balor as a member of Judgment Day came well before that. Fightful sources had indicated to us the week prior that Balor was set to turn heel and join the group days before Hell in a Cell. However, there was no mention at that point of Edge leaving the group.“

PWInsider has reported that Edge has been officially listed as a babyface of the RAW roster.

What did you think about the idea of Judgment Day becoming a supernatural faction? Let us know in the comments.
