Last month, Chelsea Green made her WWE return at the Women’s Royal Rumble Match as the No.20 entry. However, she was eliminated by Rhea Ripley in five seconds which was a new record. Green is currently portraying a Karen gimmick and she is involved in backstage segments with Adam Pearce.
This past Monday on RAW, Chelsea Green complained to Adam Pearce via phone call after being sent to Ottawa, Illinois instead of Ottawa, Canada. There is a special reason for WWE airing that segment on television.
Fightful Select reported that the 31-year-old superstar has been landlocked and unable to travel to Canada. As a Canadian Chelsea Green is still waiting for a green card to get approved. If Green participated in WWE Canada tour, she won’t be able to return to the United States until she receives a green card.
“On the February 20 episode of WWE Raw, WWE did an angle where Chelsea Green was sent to Ottawa, Illinois instead of Ottawa, Canada. This was to help bridge the gap until they were out of Canada, as the Canadian Green is currently landlocked and unable to return to Canada. As of now, Chelsea is still waiting for her Green card, and then will be able to return. Green has been landlocked for months, dating back to last Summer.”
