WWE SmackDown took place from The Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada last night and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns came to the ring without The Usos.
During a backstage segment, Jey Uso called Roman Reigns but it was answered by Sami Zayn. The Honorary Uce was told by Jey Uso that they had “trouble at the border”.
Jimmy Uso’s multiple DUI arrests seem to be the reason The Usos didn’t show up for SmackDown last night. Jimmy has been arrested four times for driving under the influence while Jey has arrested only one time in 2018.
According to the United States Customs & Border Protection,
Entering the United States with DUI offenses
A single Driving Under the Influence (DUI) conviction is not grounds to deny entry into the United States. However, a criminal offense may be a factor in whether your application is approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Multiple DUI convictions or a DUI conviction in combination with other misdemeanor offenses can make a person inadmissible and require a waiver prior to entering the United States.
Entering Canada with a DUI offense
Canada may or may not allow persons with DUI convictions to enter their country. Depending on the crime, and how long ago it was committed, and how you have behaved since the conviction, you may still be allowed to come to Canada if you:
- convince an Canadian immigration officer that you meet the legal terms to be deemed rehabilitated, or
- applied for rehabilitation and were approved, or
- were granted a record suspension, or
- have a temporary resident permit
Last night’s SmackDown ended with Roman Reigns eating a Claymore kick from Drew McIntyre. However, at one point during the brawl, Sami Zayn came to help Reigns but it was not enough. You can watch what happened after SmackDown went off air by clicking here.
